So who is Dr. John Layke?
Dr. John Layke was a medical enthusiast born in Milwaukee. Neither of his parents were in the medical field, but through his passion and determination he stuck to his dreams and joined the Nova Southeastern University College, a medical school. He undertook his residency in the Long Island Plastic Surgical group, Nassau University Medical Center located in New York and in the Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago where he also received an MD Award from the Vijay Maker for Academic Excellence. It’s also after this award that he became an Administrative Chief Resident.
In 2009, Dr. John Layke earned his medical license in the state of California and also got the American Board of Surgery Certification. He is still an affiliate of the Cedars-Sinai and the Olympia medical centers.
